Second-hand shopping 💸
Thrifting or second-hand shopping is a great alternative to spending a day with your friends at the shopping centre. You can find more unique fashion pieces for better prices & will find yourself exploring new places! Second-hand shops are also a great place to find books and movies, so why not try to find a movie you can watch at your next sleepover movie marathon? You can also turn it into a day trip by going to a variety of thrift shops and stopping by a nice cafe!
Picnic 🍒
Organising a picnic with friends is great because there are so many fun options! You can stay at home and host it in your backyard, or you can go to a local park or beach. You and your friends can bake some treats or go to the supermarket together & buy all the snacks. Make sure to bring a picnic blanket, reusable cutlery, straws and cups, and a bluetooth speaker to set the mood!
Go to a pool 🌊
If you're lucky enough to have a pool yourself, you can invite your friends over for a pool day + spend time eating summer fruits and getting your tan on!
Alternatively, you could go to a local public pool for the day. If the pool has a grassy area, you can even bring your picnic blanket and have a picnic 😊 and if any of you have inflatable toys you can bring them with you too!
City adventuring 🏙️
Be curious and explore the area you live in! Spend a day taking photos + discovering interesting new places with your friends. You can also search for a nice lunch spot or location that you'll want to come back to again! Make sure to bring water and a camera to capture your memories.
